Patty Neal is the founder and CEO of the Dance Spectrum studio in Buffalo, New York. Ms. Neal started dancing at the age of 7, and taught her first dance class at age 16. While teaching dance and attending nursing school in the 70’s, she was a principle member of “Am Dance in Concert”, the first Tap and Jazz Company in the United States, directed by Beverly Fletcher.

She returned to Buffalo to open her school, which celebrates its 37th season this year. Dance Spectrum is home to more than 700 students led by a team of 5 managers, 16 teachers, an office staff of 4, and 24 class assistants. Her effective management skills have propelled her to become a successful studio owner respected across the United States and Canada.

Returning to school in 2014, Patty completed her MBA at the C.E.L. Program at the University of Buffalo’s school of Business Management. Her business education with her hands-on experience directing a prosperous school make her an exceptional mentor for both the new or experienced studio owner. She has been consulting dance school owners all over the country and recently presented at the 2015 DanceLife Teacher Conference.

Ms. Neal is a proud mom of Aubrey and Emma, who live and work in NYC and are accomplished dancers and teachers. “I am thankful and grateful to be a mom, dance educator, and a studio owner. I have the best job in the world!”

Patty Neal is the founder and CEO of the Dance Spectrum studio in Buffalo, New York. Ms. Neal started dancing at the age of 7, and taught her first dance class at age 16. After 5 years, she returned to Buffalo to open her own school, currently in its’36th season. The Dance Spectrum is well recognized within the Buffalo community and home to over 700 students. Her students performed in Season #9 of, “America’s Got Talent”.  Ms. Neal has always been a natural leader, role model, and motivator in and out of the classroom.

Returning to school in 2014, Ms. Neal recently completed her MBA at the C.E.L. Program at the University of Buffalo’s school of Business Management. She is certified to teach by Dance Masters of America and is an international judge with the International Dance Association.

Ms. Neal, is a very proud Mom of two adult children, Aubrey and Emma, who currently live and work in NYC. They are accomplished dancers and teachers who return home to teach at the Dance Spectrum as often as possible. “I am thankful and grateful to say I am a Mom, dance educator, and a studio owner! I have the best job in the world!” Ms. Neal is looking forward to sharing her extensive experience and knowledge with the dance teachers at the DanceLife Teacher Conference.
