Dori Matkowski is the artistic director and CEO of Dance Dynamic Performing Arts Center in Michigan, which she launched in 1982. She has owned and operated dance studios since 1977. She also owns Elite Leaders, LLC leading coaches and mentors for a better life. She is a founding member for the International Dance Entrepreneurs Association.

With a variety of experiences in her own performing career, business leadership, teaching and businesses, she enjoys sharing with dance studio owners and teachers to keep it simple, profitable and enjoyable.

With hundreds of students flowing through her school, she manages a wonderful team of teachers and office employees. Her male dancer program and the Dynamic Dancers Performing Company are also very successful. She has utilized her building for more than just dance classes by offering Friday Night Dance Parties, Pilates, Ballet Company, acting, voice and more. Dance Dynamics is also a home to a chapter of the National Honors Society of Dance Arts.

Dori attained a degree in Business and Educational Leadership. In addition, she is Brand Partner for Neora International and often serves on the board for the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. She has been active in the Miss America Organization since 1977 and is a member of the National Dance Education Association.  Dori is also on production teams in Florida event planning and a casting director along with the Believe and Achieve Showcase opportunities she created in 2012. She has been consulting dance teachers and dance studio owners for many years and has enjoyed presenting for IDEA, Tremaine Conventions, Dance Life Teacher Conference and other reputable organizations. She has a certification for BrainThrive25 from Amen University. Dori is a Certified John C. Maxwell Coach, Mentor, Trainer and Speaker as well as a Maxwell Certified Consultant for DISC Behavioral Analysis and Parenting & Family certification.
