PROFILE

Jane O'Donnell is the owner/director of the Center for the Performing Arts in North Andover, Massachusetts and has been teaching for 40 years.  Her studio, which opened in 2001, is celebrating its 15th year. She has a current enrollment of over 350 students with seventeen employees under her direction.  The center is a non-competitive studio with several performance groups.  She also directs a Ballet Intensive Program for the serious ballet student to assist in achieving the highest standard in training. Her ballet students have gone on to prestigious programs, colleges and professional positions.

Jane’s dance education came from experience in both Boston and New York City. Before this current endeavor, she owned and operated dance studios since 1979.   Jane was a founding member of the Platinum Tap Company under the direction of Gene Murray and has shared her business expertise at the DanceLife Teacher Conference.  Jane has three grown children, who she raised with her husband of 34 years, one of whom is the Assistant Director of her current studio.
